First, Let us clarify. What is production?
Dentists refer to production as to the procedures that create income for the office; such as fillings, dental crowns, root canals, dental Implants, and so on.
To turn leads to production. You must have a Charisma! You must care about the patient’s need, and be sympathetic about the amount of money the will spend on the procedures!
Once you received that phone call, be sure to follow some of these steps!
- Be Happy that they called you!
- Attend to them with respect!
- Answer their questions! Prospective patients want to know everything. Do not keep them in the dark!
- Help them as much as you can. One call could mean a big sell for your dental office.
- Finally, we all know there are too many “Shoppers” – Patients who only want to know prices! *BRING THEM IN!* Try to give as much information regarding prices, but let them know you are not the doctor, and prices fluctuate depending on severity/complications of the procedures. Give them a dental consultation special just to bring them to the office.
You could say “Sorry Sir/Ma’am, I can’t really give you an accurate price because the Doctor needs to see you. I do not wish to mislead you with a price, but I can offer you this deal [INPUT DEAL] and We’ll go from there! I will talk to the doctors to give you a discount so I can help you out with the prices – When would be the best time for you to come in?”
Once the patient is in the office. SELL THE TREATMENT to them!
